6th Guild Leader Finalists

It is said the four siblings congregated in a private room of The Red Scale Inn in Slitherton Apollo coiled around herself besides the table. Her longsword rested point down, gripped lightly by her tail. Vibrant red and blue scales gleamed in the candlelight; they seemed all the more bright when compared with the muted heraldry on her tabard and the dull gleam of her battle-worn armour. She was the strongest, and largest, of the four siblings, and was therefore their leader. On Apollo’s left coiled Naga, the smallest, who seemed to have issue sitting still as her brown, black-flecked tail spasmodically gripped and released her holy staff. When asked Naga would say her lack of tail control was a result of an encounter with a giant – an old battle injury – and if sufficiently deep in her cups she would even begrudgingly admit the injury was from said giant stepping on her. Directly opposite Naga, on the darkest side of the room, Nyx brooded under her black hood. Like the darkness she liked to surround herself with, Nyx’s scales were jet black, barring the bright yellow stripe down her spine that was almost always hidden beneath her robes. Currently, Nyx was idly throwing her a dagger, using the odd kink in her tail’s tip to give it the perfect spin, and catching it without even looking. Sitting between Nyx and Naga, and directly opposite Apollo, was the last of the four, Jörmungandr. She bore a strong resemblance to all three of her siblings; having a very similar brown-with-black-spots scale pattern to Naga, the same yellow stripe down her spine as Nyx, and the same muscly build as Apollo. She was currently feigning disinterest by reading the spell book propped up amongst her coils, the tip of her tail lazily tracing spell patterns. Apollo took one last glance at the document on the table between them before coming to her decision. It was parchment, covered in long looping script of red ink and signed with the king’s seal. The four siblings had been arguing over this fragment of royal decree for over three hours, and in the end, they had agreed to leave the final decision to Apollo. It was no easy decision to make; taking the risk could bring great reward, but the danger was high and even the King’s favour could prove fickle. Apollo let out a long hiss to get her sibling attention. She had made their decision. No words were spoken, she merely spilt some wax from a candle onto the parchment before signing their family name into it with the tip of her sword. An odd method perhaps, but it certainly made a statement – their dedication was as sure as the royal decree. The four siblings would set out to brave the odds come hell or highwater. So began the Illustrious Guild of the Daybaskers, Duskweilders, Deathwatchers, and Darkslitherers. - Excerpt from A complete history of the Great Guilds and other gatherings of the Kingdom of Serpentia

He was a spider ball python , my first ever snake, whom I got from a very trusted exotics store who wouldn’t sell him to anyone unless they promised not to breed him because of his disability. Nearly 3 years old when I got him I fell in love immediately, he was the light of my life, I’d come home every day from school, get him out, and play video games or do homework while he chilled on my neck. Unfortunately, because of his wobble getting slightly worst as he aged to 6 years old he was most likely crawling on the top of his cage and hit his head fall down upside down (the wobble causes him to know know which way is up). I came home to find that he seemed to have passed peacefully, passing from one house to another. I miss him everyday and i nominate Jeff in hopes he can bring some smiles to fellow DnD and snake lovers!!! I could see him as a Druid. May a circle of moon. He absolutely loves to turn into other reptiles or amphibians. His favorite being leopard geckos! He LOVES to cast Moonbeam (perfect cause snakes are nocturnal) and use vines as restraints. Being a circle of dreams it gives him access to the Balm of the summer court which allow them to heal an ally within a 120 foot range! Wow! So many cool powers awaiting your request and he is a perfect companion for adventurers! Thank you greatly for reading me and Jeff’s story! Have a great day!

Sir Julus Hisstopher Hoggington, first of his name was a truly loved snek by all in the kingdom. He was a brave explorer. a steadfast burrower and quick to hiss his displeasure. He was also known far and wide for his never ending appetite. Mice and rats quivered in fear and even then, it wasn't enough. One day he decided to attempt to eat the source of all his food, A giant! (Me) clamping a fang hold directly into the numerous wiggling digits this giant possessed, he refused to left go of this amazing meal he'd captured, until the giant, cunning in his pain attempted to drown him under a waterfall (sink faucet) until he was forced to admit defeat and was returned to his normal hunting grounds, unharmed, but determined more than ever! Sadly Hisstopher passed away not long after that, not quiet making it to 2 winters from a the one thing he couldn't hiss or bite his way out of, liver failure. The sweet baby boy passed away, and is truly missed, even to this day. For these reasons in snek paradise he should be elected to Guildmaster so he might continue to feast and hunt until one day, he'll eat that giant!

Arthas is no ordinary snake: with scales as white as snowdrifts and sapphire eyes that glint like shards of ice, he glides silently through his domain. His cool, piercing gaze has earned him the title “The Chillbringer.” Though he may seem as distant as winter’s chill, Arthas is a loyal protector, a bold leader whose heart, though cloaked in frost, burns with an undying spirit of adventure.

My snake Lilith is an IMG redtail boa. This makes her the perfect assassin, because with every shed she turns a darker color. She started life as an innocent grey color with a lovely red tail. The rats she inhumed didn't see her coming. As she grew, her lovely grey turned to a shimmier black to blend better with the night. Her shedding into a new size and color makes a perfect, natural new disguise. Lilith despairs of her young upstairs neighbor, Penny, because she's a bright, eye catching orange with red eyes that Lilith believes makes Penny less than ideal to work the assassin's trade. Little does she know how successful the colorful Penny is. But that's another story.

He’s a rescue snake that’s also a reason why he is so small, when I got him he only weighed 15grams and was roughly 11inches long, even though he was over two years old at that time. But little Haku is a true fighter he gained weight and some size and lives a happy life in a big enclosure now. At the time I got him I had a really bad time in my life so it felt like not only did I rescue him, he rescued me too. He really is the sweetest boy he loves to hang out with me especially when he can climb into my hoodie and chill in my sleeves. Here’s the text I wrote to nominate him. Haku is a western hognose snake and a Yeti morph. He is three years old and 15inches long. He is a rescue snake, that‘s also a reason why he is so small. I rescued him last year and he kind of rescued me too. He is the sweetest little boy and very curious, he loves to climb on my hand and arm when I have my hand in the enclosure. He’s the perfect companion for a quest, he is so small he fits in every pocket and also he surprises his enemies with his climbing skills, that they hadn’t seen coming from a hognose snake. Also even though he‘s pocket sized he‘s still a very good fighter, disguised as a bracelet (I even have pictures to proof it XD) he sneakily attacks when no one would expect it. But his Ultimate attack are his eyes, with his silly look he stares at you and hypnoses you while his eyes wanders at different directions. And when you’re hypnotized he uses his sneaky skills to steal all your mice! All in all he’s a very good companion and surely a great guild leader too! Very sweet on the inside (and outside lets be honest he’s the cutest) but still very skilled in battle and won’t hesitate to steal your mice! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you to everyone who votes for him! We both really appreciate it!🙏🏻 Best regards from Haku and Hakus Guardian (me)!🖤

Riza is a wild-type plains hognose. She's confident and easy-going, tackling any challenge with gusto! Whether it's trying to burrow directly into a blanket, climbing a ridiculously tall branch, or trying to eat something twenty times her size, she'll rise to any occasion! Friendly and sweet, Riza never balks at an opportunity to meet new people. She charms her way into places she shouldn't be, using that smile of hers to her advantage. She's as ferocious in combat as she is at the dinner table, circling her foe to look for the best angle to attack from. If one can ignore the fact that she insists on eating every meal sideways, Riza makes a most fearsome fighter.

Lord Trevor is as fearsome as any blood python and twice as brave. When I acquired Sir Trevor as a hatchling, he was none too pleased to be disturbed. He launched himself wildly with no fear at three different people in the space of the first 30 minutes I knew him. And I knew immediately he was the one for me. He bravely fought as he was shoved unceremoniously into a canvas bag to be transported to his new home. Since then he has bravely handled many adventures, such as switching to frozen/thawed food, being manhandled by his captors on a regular basis, and being shoved into a small plastic prison and taken to see an incredibly invasive human (veterinarian). All of the trials and tribulations Sir Trevor faced with such bravery.

I was absolutely terrified of snakes but I saw a popular snake online (Linguini!) who just warmed my heart. I took my time and knew I would find “the one” when the timing was right. I saw a local (and very well known on MM) reptile shop had Pieds available. To me, they looked less intimidating. So I went to “just look” and the girl working asked me a few questions including if this was my first snake. She instantly responds “I have just the guy for you!” Out she comes with my Cookie. At the time he was only around 2 months old and tiny! After holding him for about 20 minutes, he instantly warmed up to me. He sealed the deal when he gave me blelele kisses on my nose. Once we came home and he settled, it took a lot of courage for me to handle him. Eventually I faced my fears and the bond that formed because of it, has truly been one of the strongest I have had with any of my animals. How is this bond relevant? Cookie, being a Ball Python, is a chicken and easily scared (kind of) when it comes to new people. When guests ask if they can see him, I will grab him and place him in their hands where he’ll just stay in a ball. When he does this, I will grab him and talk to him and give him a very distinct pet that he knows is me. From there, he instantly becomes comfortable and starts his blelelele with mama! One of my favorite things is when people say “oh my gosh that’s amazing. He must really love you.” From there, he knows he’s safe because his mama is with him and he’ll be social with people. It might sound cliche but I feel like we also have a very intuitive connection. I will be somewhere in the house and exclaim “my baby is awake!” And sure enough, when I go to his enclosure, he’s peeking his little head out and blelele away. As soon as I open his door, here he comes! Giving kisses and excited to be out. My boyfriend always asks “how did you know that???” To which I respond “I know my babies!” Finally, one of the things that we do together that people AND Cookie enjoy is “Home Repairs with Cookie” videos I will make. He loves hanging around my neck as I fix little things around the house. I call him my supervisor and he loves to thoroughly inspect my work before he bleleles off on it for final approval! Our friends and family are always amazed with how much of a character he is. Cookie has been such a great addition to my life. He has helped me conquer fears and taught me lessons of both trust and patience. As the love of my life, I can’t wait for him and I to end up in the retirement home together. Thank you for being the absolute best CooCoo!!

"The bards will forever sing of Lady Ingrid the Red; one is beginning her epic again even now. Harken! "Ingrid, the sweet sweet snake, with her sweet sweet snoot, on her sweet sweet face..." But she was not always so honored, as the benevolent ruler watching her loving subjects from her steadfast tree. First, the queen of the boas had to escape the forgotten temple. Some traps spring quickly, though others are more insidious, and such was this temple. At first things went well, but eventually the place grew colder. Darker. She began to hunger. And then she saw the trap for what it was. Though she could see outside, she could not reach it. So she summoned up her royal voice and thundered "OPEN THE DOORS!" No answer. Again she called. And then a new acolyte appeared and reverently obeyed. She left that place with all the self-assurance of the serpentine monarch she is; and to her subjects, forevermore, she will always ensure light."

About Us

Real Fake Games, LLC is a new game publisher that specializes in both physical and digital games. Founded by two AAA game veterans, our goal is to never take ourselves too serious and create wacky, in your face IPs that can extend across multiple titles.

Our launch title will be a card game called Quest Snakes – a game all about hiring a band of medieval snakes to your guild to deploy them on bizarre and wacky quests.

The tone of everything we do should feel loose, fun, and never take itself too serious. You’ll notice this in the art we provide, we would love our site’s design to match this in some ways

Do you love Quest Snakes? Well, we love YOU! Thank you for checking out our site. Please consider signing up for our email list. We promise not to be annoying and as a two person team, it really helps us out!
